Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and APPEX LLC (“APPEX Tree Service”, “APPEX”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website. A written estimate, proposal or contract for a specific job may include additional terms; if it conflicts with these terms, the job document controls for that job.

APPEX provides residential and commercial tree services in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, land clearing, debris removal and storm cleanup. Service availability can depend on location, access, weather and crew schedules.

• Photo and phone estimates are preliminary and based on the information you provide.
• Your final price is confirmed after an on-site assessment or in a written estimate before work begins.
• If conditions differ from what was described (such as hidden decay, size, access or hazards), we will discuss any change in scope or price with you before continuing.
• Estimates are valid for the period stated on them.

When you book work with us, you confirm that:

• You own the property or are authorized to approve work on it, including any trees on or near property lines
• You've obtained any HOA or landlord approvals your property requires
• You'll tell us about known hazards, such as damaged trees, buried utilities, septic or irrigation systems, pets and fences
• Our crew will have safe access to the work area on the scheduled day

Work on or near energized power lines must be handled or cleared by the utility company. We will not work where conditions are unsafe.

We schedule work in good faith but may need to reschedule because of weather, unsafe site conditions, equipment issues or emergencies. For storm and emergency calls, we respond as quickly as it is safe to do so; specific arrival times are estimates, not guarantees.

Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated in your written estimate or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due when the work is complete.

We take care to protect your property, using turf-friendly equipment and protective mats where appropriate, and we clean up after every job. Some effects of tree work are normal and outside our control, including:

• Minor lawn wear or ruts from equipment, especially in wet ground
• Objects hidden inside trees or underground (such as nails, metal, concrete or unmarked lines) that can damage equipment or cause unavoidable damage
• Natural sprouting from roots or stumps that were not ground
• Problems that existed before our work, such as decay, disease or root damage

Please tell us about any concern right away so we can review it with you.

APPEX carries General Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific work involved, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, including by sending spam or false requests, uploading harmful files, trying to access restricted areas, or interfering with the site's operation.

Tree care facts and guidance on this website are general information, not a substitute for an on-site assessment of your trees. Contact us before acting on information about a specific tree.

The text, photos, graphics, logos and design of this website belong to APPEX or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, modify or republish our content without written permission.

Our website includes maps and links provided by third parties (such as OpenStreetMap). We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices; their own terms apply.

This website is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the website.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise. We always prefer to resolve concerns directly first, so please contact us.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Work already agreed in writing stays under the terms that applied when it was booked.
